Small Macy's Haul

A few thing I got from macy's last week:

This is what they shipped like.

Kouture by Kimora Strapless Sweetheart Leopard Satin metal Knot Mini Dress
It was a bit static-y when I tokk it out of the package but after it layed out for a while it really did fit nice, and the tope stays up. No need for tugging or pulling.
Price: 11.99$

Material Girl Top, Sleeveless Scoop Neck Lace Cropped Tank
I bought the crop top [black tshirt and leather pants not included] in black and the cream color pictured above. Material Girls is the Madonna's new line for Macy's. The tops are nice but if you have a bigger bust I would definently suggest getting a medium or large.
Price: 3.99$ Each

My Grand Total:
22.12$
This included shipping and handling.
They're have a 99cents shipping deal when you enter the promo code 99CENTS on all clearance items.

The Golden Globes; Best & Worst & Some in the Middle

Last night was the Golden Globes, so here is my best and worst dressed guide for those who couldn't see it. I'm happy to say Natalie  Portman won for best actress in Black Swan, great movie! I'll probably do a post on it later this week.

Best:

Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta

Mila Kunis in Vera Wang

Olivia Wilde in Marchesa
I love how she paired a volumious dress with a very sleek and simple hair-do.
Very balanced and very beautiful.

Milla Jovovich in Armani Prive

Amy Adams in Marchesa

 Sarah Hyland in Max Azria
I am personally a big fan of this silhouette for thinner girls.
The gown is very feminine and pretty.

Worst:
Heidi Klum in Marc Jacobs
Appropriate for July, maybe?

Julianne Moore in Lanvin

Gabourey Sidibe in Marc Bouwer
There are so many other flattering choices for curvier woman that look stunning,
but why did she choose this?

Michelle Williams in Valentino

Tilda Swinton in Jil Sander
Obviously, she had trouble between choosing mens wear or a dress;
so she chose both.

Helena Bonham Carter in Vivienne Westwood

Halle Barry in Nina Ricci
Yes Halle Barry, we all know you have a great body,
quit showing off.

In the Middle:
These gowns were't as fabulose or memorable as some of the other gowns were, but are still flattering and worth noting.

Natalie Portman in Viktor & Rolf
The stem of the flower is really un-necessary to me,.
BUT, pink and red is a nice color combination when done right.

Sandra Bullock in Jenny Packham
I like this bohemian-esque silhouette.

Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace

Jayma Mays in Alberta Ferrett
I love the vintage feel this dress has.

January Jones in Versace

Overall:
-I saw lots of nudes ranging from beige to champange to pretty pink hues.

-Splashes of Emerald. Mila Kunis, Elisabeth Moss, Angelina Jolie and Catherine Zeta-Jones were all seen in this gorgeous color.

Monday Update #3 [on a sunday, hah]

I've been very busy classes lately, but I have a two week break so I will be updating alot more(: As for the last few weeks here's what I've been liking:

Music:
You don't know me- Ben Folds
The Police and the Private- Metric
Strange faces- For The Fallen Dreams
Lasso- Phoenix
Seventeen- Ladytron

Television:
Sex and the City re-runs on E! haha(:

Fashion:
Tights and scarves.
I've been a bit more casual the past few weeks, but I'm back to normal.

Make-Up:
Winged Eye-Liner.
I used to wear it every single day but I fell out of it the past year or so.

I am currently fighting my caffiene addiction with horrible head aches.

I up-loaded some old pictures of me and friends last week,
here's one of me and my sister from 2 years ago:
So cute<33
